This presentation focuses on understanding and helping children who don’t know how to connect with other children, including those who do not have friends, are not invited to play dates and are treated unkindly by peers.  In the presentation Dr. McKown will discuss barriers to positive peer connections for these types of children and the ways in which parents, educators and professionals can help kids who struggle socially.
