What are Executive Function Skills?

Executive Functions are the brain processes that enable us to regulate the world around us, utilizing organizational and higher-order learning skills. Development of the skills listed below are essential for success in both school and later in life.

Objectives

This activity-based workshop is designed to:

  • Increase awareness of neurological framework for Executive Functions • Acquire knowledge about the RNBC Executive Functions Program
  • Develop every-day teaching practices utilizing Executive Function skills in the classroom

Who Should Attend

Classroom and subject-area teachers of grade levels 3 to 12, special education teachers, school psychologists and social workers, school principals, and other interested administrators. CPDU Credits will be available.
